The first three Mondays in December, volunteers from Linn County Master Gardeners will share gardening tips on various topics for those who want to learn more about gardening best practices.

Do grow lights for seed starting seem overwhelming? Hoping to integrate prairie plants into your landscape and have no idea what the seed packet means by "cold stratification"? This talk with Master Gardener Martha McClurg will provide you with the knowledge and tips you need to economically start your own seeds by harnessing the energy of winter sunlight using recycled milk jugs. Techniques for annual vegetable plants, annual flowers, and native prairie plants will be discussed.
