What's that supposed to be? Exploring Abstract Art!
September 24th: Rainbow is my Favorite Color
Alma Thomas loved to use color in her artwork, so today we’ll make multicolor mosaics inspired by her favorite color: ALL of them!
October 29th: Frankenthaler’s Monsters
Helen Frankenstein Frankenthaler allowed her paint to and into the canvas to create abstract artwork. Try it yourself, boosting the creep factor to make murky monsters.
November 26th: Spot the Artist
Yayoi Kusama has created lots of artwork covered in spots and dots, including a whole room where she invited visitors to help add dots to every surface. Join us to make some dotty artwork you can take home.
December 17th: Art is in the Air
Ruth Asawa created sheer sculptures that seemed to float in midair. Join us today and create your own hanging creation that can double as holiday décor.
