Was your favorite thing in school silent reading time? Is your house filled with loud people who constantly need your attention? Looking for a time and space just to read in delicious silence?

MPL is happy to host our first ever Silent Reading Club!

We are happy to provide the time and place for all who want to get a little quiet reading in their lives.  The only rules are you must be quiet when you come.  ;-)  Join us on the third Sunday afternoon of each month and find your zen.  We will have a cart of books selected by our own Sue Gerth, Readers Advisory and Collections Manager, filled with new hits, hidden gems and things you might not have considered.  Feel free to check one of these out or bring your own books.  We will also have lists, info, treats and more each and every month to make your silent reading more enjoyable.  Bring a drink and a snack if you wish.  Stop in for just a little while or feel free to spend the entire afternoon in our silent reading club.  See you there!
