Join us for gardening tips from the Linn County Master Gardeners!

Each Monday in April, volunteers from Linn County Master Gardeners will share gardening tips on various topics for those who want to learn more about gardening best practices.

Who doesn't like a good buffet? The 300 plus native species of bees in Iowa sure do like a buffet! Join Master Gardener Angel Burns to learn about different flowers, trees, and shrubs you can add to your landscape, yard, or deck to attract these important pollinators. It’s important to provide a variety of flowering plants throughout the growing season to make sure bees are able to have the resources to complete their life cycles. We will also discuss other things you can add to your buffet to keep the bees happy and coming back for more.
