Join the Marion Public Library and African American Museum of Iowa for a storytime featuring authors: Michelle Edwards and Brion Martin.
Michelle Edwards was born in Texas but grew up in Iowa. She has three adult children and four grandchildren. She loves reading, writing, music, transforming trashing to treasures, and having fun with family and friends. Her love of reading and writing, and the encouragement from others led to her to pursue writing. The No-More-Scared Children Story is Michelle’s first book.
Brion Martin is a husband and father to four daughters in Waterloo, Iowa. He is an evangelist with a passion for sharing the gospel. He’s the author of The God Theorem: Logically explaining the existence of God as well as several other children’s books including, I Wonder if They Grow Balloon Trees on the Moon, Chocolate, Chocolate All for Me, and The Brightest Star. All of his literary contributions are written for readers young and old to discover the love of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
